Designers have sent their models down

Haute couture has flirted with urban clothing.Urban clothing, it seems, was born on the streets and belongs to the streets. Many hip hop artists would wear distinctly African items of clothing which would then be imitated by fans. For this reason, urban clothes should not be treated lightly.Rappers wearing expensive jewellery led to a spate of thefts from wealthy rap artists, by fans wanting to imitate their idols but being utterly Finger Rosary Suppliers unable to purchase the same items. The origins of hip hop stem from the African-American culture as does the clothing. The same artists were passionate about their roots, a passion that would only grow stronger alongside the difficulties of being an African-American in a country that suffered from marked racism. It is symbolic and worn with pride or to make a statement. For example, the trend of wearing padlock chains by some rap artists was a way of expressing solidarity with other African-Americans who had been imprisoned. Designers have sent their models down the catwalk kitted out with black playsuits and heavy jewellery and using hip hop artists in their adverts, but the relationship between high fashion and urban clothes was a short-lived on.It is out of concern for the fans who cannot afford items of great wealth, who may be led to gain them through illegal means that some hip hop artists with more awareness than others choose to shun the wearing of expensive jewellery. Can you think of any other music that is so closely linked to fashion as hip hop music and urban clothing? This is perhaps due to several reasons. For a minority who are faced with the bare facts that they remain prejudiced against, sometimes wrongly imprisoned and often unfairly treated, a necklace must be and usually is, more than just a necklace.Unfortunately, sometimes this symbolism has gone the wrong way.
